Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Instrumentation, Measurement, Control, and Regulation (EMSR) Engineer to independently manage and advance automation technology crucial for effect pigment manufacturing within the chemical industry. The successful candidate will serve as the central technical liaison for production operations and associated service departments, focusing on the maintenance, optimization, and expansion of EMSR technology in production facilities. Key responsibilities involve end-to-end project management for EMSR services, including quotation preparation and technical documentation (specifications and functional descriptions). You will be responsible for coordinating technical measures, aligning efforts with production teams and external contractors, and ensuring strict adherence to legal requirements concerning plant safety, environmental protection, and quality management. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, professional experience with control systems like Siemens PCS7 in a chemical environment, and fluency in both German and English.

Required Skills

Education

Completed Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in maintenance, optimization, and project planning of a control system (Siemens PCS7) including field devices in the chemical industry environment.
  • Professional experience in the coordination and management of external services.
  • Professional experience serving as a central technical contact for production operations and service areas.
