Job Summary
This role is for an Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Technician, also known as a Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MCR) Technician, specializing in building automation systems. The primary responsibilities include programming I&C systems for Building Management Systems (BMS), specifically working with plant and field controllers to implement simple control loops and internal automation functions (e.g., frost protection, night setback). You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager to ensure all technical requirements are met, and you will be responsible for commissioning the systems and handing them over to clients and the service department, all while strictly adhering to safety standards. Candidates should have a completed technical education (e.g., Mechatronics or Automation Electronics) and practical experience in I&C technology, ideally within building automation or plant control. Knowledge of DDC or PLC programming is a significant advantage.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Industrial Electrician, or comparable technical profession.
