Job Summary
This role seeks an IT Support Specialist to join the central team of the Real Estate Free State of Bavaria in Munich. The specialist will be responsible for providing general IT support (EDV-Support) and technical management of the organization's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems, including servers, switches, and VOIP telephony. Key daily tasks involve automated software distribution, specifically packaging and deployment using tools like DX-Union, and managing user, rights, and device administration within Active Directory. You will also coordinate closely with central IT service providers regarding server and network operations. Candidates must have completed relevant vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT Specialist) or hold civil servant status (2nd QE) with professional experience. Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments and associated networking is essential. This is an unlimited, stable position offering flexible working hours and public sector benefits, but requires excellent German skills and readiness for occasional business travel across Bavaria.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT Specialist/Fachinformatiker or IT Management Assistant/Informatikkauffrau/-mann) or comparable IT-specific training; alternatively, Civil Servant of the 2nd Qualification Level in Natural Science and Technology or Administration and Finance.
Experience
- Relevant professional experience (required for civil servant applicants)
