Communications Systems Engineer | Systemingenieur Nachrichtentechnik (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is ideal for an electrical engineering specialist passionate about communications technology and signal processing within complex systems. The Communications Systems Engineer will be responsible for developing the system architecture for ground stations, defining technical interfaces between various subsystems, and managing communication links to orbiting satellites. Drawing on customer requirements, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to specify hardware and software components, document the overall system design, and guide supplier development. A key part of the job involves overseeing the entire system integration and comprehensive testing process through to final delivery to the client. The ideal candidate holds a Master's or Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, possesses experience with complex electrotechnical systems, and is fluent in both German and English. This position offers the opportunity to work autonomously within a small team (3-5 people) on end-to-end projects in the demanding space and defense sectors, supported by a hybrid work model.
