Job Summary

This role is centered on ensuring the technical integrity and functionality of complex chemical production facilities. The Electrical Engineering Technician will act as the plant manager for assigned areas, overseeing and executing maintenance, repair, and cleaning tasks, and eliminating technical weaknesses. Key responsibilities include monitoring plant functionality through regular inspections, managing and supervising lockouts/tagouts and clearances according to VDE standards, and acting as the work supervisor for external contractors requiring work permits. The ideal candidate possesses a vocational degree in E/M+R (e.g., Process Control Electronics Technician or Automation Technology Electrician) combined with a qualification as a certified Technician or Master Electrician. Proficiency in CAD systems like EPLAN P8, basic knowledge of PLCs, process control systems, frequency converters, and measurement/control technology are essential.
