Job Summary

This role seeks an IT Administrator passionate about network systems to join the IT team at the PORT OF KIEL. You will be responsible for the comprehensive system administration, maintenance, and optimization of the server landscape, networks, and virtual infrastructure, spanning from the data center to operational systems. A key part of the role involves IT security, troubleshooting, and providing expert technical support to colleagues, acting as the primary contact for technical issues and finding quick and pragmatic solutions. Candidates must possess completed IT training or comparable professional experience, coupled with fundamental knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking, and backup systems. Experience with Microsoft 365 or virtualization is highly beneficial. Success requires strong communication skills, a willingness to work in a unique maritime environment, and the mobility provided by a Class B driver's license to cover all port areas. This is a permanent position offering flexible working models.
