Job Summary

This position seeks an IT Administrator passionate about IT systems and networks to join the PORT OF KIEL team and actively contribute to its digital future. Day-to-day responsibilities include the comprehensive administration, maintenance, and optimization of the server landscape, networks, and virtual systems, spanning from the data center to operational environments. The administrator will serve as the primary contact for IT security, technical support, and troubleshooting, requiring quick and pragmatic problem-solving skills. A unique requirement is the willingness for on-site deployment, supporting IT technology directly at harbor facilities and vehicles. Key qualifications include a completed IT education (such as an IT Specialist for System Integration) or comparable professional experience, coupled with fundamental knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking, and backup systems. Strong communication skills and mobility (Driver's License Class B) are essential for this role within the unique maritime atmosphere of the port.
