Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced IT Administrator passionate about network systems and the maritime sector to actively shape the digital future of the Port of Kiel. The primary responsibilities include comprehensive system administration, covering the maintenance and optimization of server landscapes, networks, and virtual systems, spanning from the data center to operational deployment. You will be the primary contact for technical inquiries, providing rapid troubleshooting, ensuring IT security, and performing necessary on-site support for IT technology installed on port facilities and vehicles. Key qualifications include a completed IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or equivalent professional experience. Candidates must demonstrate strong foundational knowledge in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking, and backup systems, with familiarity with Microsoft 365 or virtualization being a plus.
