Job Summary

This System Administrator role, located within the Office for Digitalization and Information Technology, is crucial for maintaining the operational readiness and smooth functioning of the county office's extensive IT infrastructure. The administrator will be responsible for the maintenance and support of 1400 clients and 120 servers, including all external branches. Day-to-day tasks involve internal IT support, managing central network components, developing network infrastructure, and operating firewalls and routers. A key focus is implementing IT security according to BSI Basic Protection standards and performing patch management for all systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree as an IT Specialist or equivalent, possesses deep knowledge of Microsoft Server Administration and Cisco network technology, and works proactively using process-oriented methods like ITIL.
