This senior-level role seeks a highly experienced Medicinal Chemist to drive strategic decisions within Early Drug Discovery for a leading global pharmaceutical corporation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in evolving Structure-Activity/Property Relationship (SAR/SPR) strategies and data-driven decision processes related to compound design. Day-to-day tasks involve close collaboration with interdisciplinary research groups, integrating chemical, biological, and pharmacological insights, and scientifically evaluating and prioritizing projects in key therapeutic areas like Cardiovascular, Oncology, and Immunology. A Ph.D. in Organic or Medicinal Chemistry and over 15 years of professional experience, spanning from hit identification through preclinical candidate nomination, are essential.
