This critical engineering role involves taking full, cross-site product responsibility for a specific range of electromechanical components within the aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sector. The Electromechanical Components Engineer is tasked with rigorously investigating and tracking technical malfunctions and economic complaints, ensuring timely and effective corrective measures are initiated and implemented. A core function involves driving innovation by initiating and executing proprietary developments for repairs and testing, alongside developing new repair methodologies in cooperation with external institutes and suppliers. Furthermore, the role requires performing detailed calculations and analyses to optimize and advance existing maintenance processes. Candidates must possess a strong academic background, preferably a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering, combined with essential knowledge of aviation technical legislation and MRO practices, making this a challenging and attractive position within a leading global aviation technology provider.
