Job Summary
The VKTA is seeking a dedicated Chemical-Technical or Physical-Technical Assistant to join their team in Dresden-Rossendorf. In this role, you will be crucial in conducting wastewater emission monitoring and performing general analytical laboratory tasks. Your daily responsibilities will include preparing samples, conducting activity analyses using various spectrometry techniques like gamma spectrometry, alpha/beta total counting, and liquid scintillation counting. You will also be responsible for quality assurance of measurement procedures, exploring new analytical methods, and managing laboratory waste. The ideal candidate will have a completed vocational training in a relevant field, possess a high degree of independence and responsibility, and demonstrate excellent organizational skills. Experience in radionuclide analytics and radiation protection is a plus, along with a willingness to work in radiation protection areas and handle radioactive materials.

Experience
- Professional experience as a Chemical-Technical or Physical-Technical Assistant or comparable role
