This leadership role at ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions focuses on guiding an innovative team of Firmware and Algorithm developers within the multisensory Coordinate Measuring Machine (mCMM) Business Unit. The successful candidate will drive the future of high-precision metrology by developing and implementing groundbreaking firmware solutions for real-time and embedded systems, elevating product precision and efficiency for industries like e-mobility and aerospace. Key responsibilities include disciplinary and lateral team leadership, mentoring staff development, comprehensive project management (planning, budgeting, execution), and ensuring stringent quality assurance through best practices and robust testing strategies. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory, normative, and Cyber Security requirements. This position requires a strong technical background in C/C++ and RTOS, coupled with proven experience in team leadership and modern development methodologies like Agile/Scrum.
