Job Summary
As a Customer Engineer, you will be the primary technical liaison between Lufthansa Technik's EMEA engineering teams and key airline/component customers. Your role involves fostering strong technical relationships, explaining complex engineering processes, and ensuring customer expectations align with internal capabilities. You will collaborate extensively with Quality, Process, and Engineering teams to resolve technical challenges, contribute to service improvement, and support global initiatives in reliability and digitalization. This position requires frequent travel to customer sites and global hubs for technical discussions, presentations, and project support, making it ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, international aviation environment.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Engineering (preferably Aircraft/Aeronautical or Electrical/Electronic); Design/Verification Engineer certification is a plus
Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in component overhaul, aircraft maintenance, or technical services
- Experience in Part-145, CAMO, or Part-21J organizations preferred
- Experience working with international teams and stakeholders
- Professional experience in preparing technical materials and presentations
