Job Summary

This permanent position as a Laboratory Technician in Product Development, located in Henstedt-Ulzburg, offers a vital role within an international food and chemical manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining quality control and documentation throughout the product lifecycle. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the recording of specifications and customer samples, responsibly handling a variety of raw materials, and diligently monitoring expiration dates. A key function involves performing qualified quality controls, managing laboratory databases, and ensuring the proper handling of lab chemicals. Furthermore, the technician will manage the release and blocking processes for raw materials, intermediate, and final products, while independently maintaining thorough documentation. This role requires a completed technical assistant qualification (such as Chemical Laboratory Technician, CTA, BTA, PTA, or MTA) or equivalent, coupled with a strong sense of smell for crucial final quality checks, and a structured, responsible approach to work.
