Job Summary

This role involves joining Prokon’s dedicated in-house service team, ensuring the long-term optimal performance and high technical availability (over 97%) of their wind energy systems. The Wind Turbine Service Technician is primarily responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex components, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and control systems. Key daily tasks include performing detailed fault analyses, conducting preventative maintenance, and accurately documenting all service interventions. Candidates must possess a completed electrical qualification, such as an Electrician, Industrial Electronics Technician, or Mechatronics Technician, and ideally have prior professional experience in the wind energy sector. The position requires physical fitness, comfort working at heights (no vertigo), and a willingness to participate in scheduled emergency and on-call services, including weekends and holidays. The role is based in Bexbach (Saarland) and requires a Class B driving license for regional travel and occasional nationwide assignments.
