Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional focusing on robust, high-availability Linux infrastructure and automation within the telecommunications sector. The specialist will be responsible for the planning, management, and implementation of IT infrastructure projects and system administration tasks. Key day-to-day activities include administering and advancing Linux server landscapes (Debian/Ubuntu), building and optimizing automation processes using tools like Ansible, Bash, and Python, and managing Open Source solutions, including virtualization (Proxmox), databases, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). The position requires a strong focus on documentation, quality assurance, and maintaining stable and secure system operations, including monitoring, backup, and patch management. Candidates must possess a relevant IT degree or equivalent experience, multi-year expertise in Linux administration, and strong communication skills in both German (C1) and English (B2).
