Job Summary
This role involves joining the team in Bad Rothenfelde as an IT Application Manager focused on the Nexus Clinical Information System (KIS). The core responsibilities include participating in the introduction, ongoing administration, and maintenance of the Nexus KIS, ensuring smooth operation through configuration, installation, and applying necessary patches and updates. Day-to-day tasks involve providing 2nd-level support, troubleshooting complex technical faults, and establishing and managing interfaces between the KIS and connected subsystems, including healthcare standards like HL7/FHIR and DICOM. The successful candidate will analyze business processes, coordinate both internal and external service providers, and document solutions for rapid operational recovery. This is a permanent position suitable for experienced professionals, offering the possibility of mobile working and requiring strong analytical skills and team capability.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or vocational training in a technical/commercial field (IHK equivalent)
Experience
- Professional experience in a clinical environment with an IT focus (desirable)
- Experience with Clinical Information Systems (KIS) administration and configuration (desirable)
- Experience in handling and administering interfaces in the healthcare sector (desirable)
- Experience in project work, project management, or project leadership (desirable)
- Several years of professional experience (for career changers)
