Job Summary
This role as an Administrative Auditor involves supporting the City Administration's Audit Office (Revisionsamt) by conducting essential internal audits. Day-to-day responsibilities include independently executing comprehensive administrative examinations, focusing on the regularity, expediency, and economic efficiency of internal processes, cash management, and IT procedures. The Auditor will produce detailed, meaningful reports for senior administration based on standardized templates and present findings to the relevant departments. Key qualifications include a background in German public service administration (A 11 or Verwaltungslehrgang II) or a degree in Administrative Business Administration, Economics, or Law. This part-time, permanent position offers flexible work arrangements and the opportunity to gain recognized certification through professional association membership, contributing to the high standards of modern auditing.
Required Skills
Education
Eligibility for Status Office A 11 LBesO (Administration and Finance); OR Completed Administrative Course II; OR Completed university degree in Administrative Business Administration, Economics, or comparable field; OR Completed first legal state examination.
Experience
- Professional experience in administrative auditing or financial control.
- Experience in independent execution of audits based on an annual plan.
- Experience in preparing formal audit reports.
