Job Summary

This role involves providing essential IT Application Management for the City of Mainz and communal customers across Rhineland-Palatinate, working within a BSI/ISO27001 certified public data center. Daily duties include comprehensive technical application support, coordinating software development and updates, performing specialized application adjustments, and managing quality assurance through testing scenarios. A key focus is independent troubleshooting, often collaborating with internal departments and vendors for complex issues. You will also participate actively in IT projects. Candidates should possess a university degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant vocational training combined with further qualification or a willingness to enter a trainee program. Experience in technical application support is highly desirable, alongside a structured, customer-oriented approach and strong communication skills to thrive as a team player.
