This role as an Application Developer focuses on bridging development and operations within the IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), serving both public and private sector clients. The core responsibilities involve designing, implementing, and operating robust backend systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing modern Java applications and establishing efficient CI/CD pipelines, integrating databases and services into product-oriented architectures. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of modern object-oriented development, particularly using Java frameworks like Spring and Spring Boot. Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git is essential, alongside familiarity with relational and non-relational databases. The position requires expertise in product-oriented architectures, including REST interfaces and Service Meshes.
