Job Summary
The Technical University of Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm is seeking a Research Associate for its "Interactive Media Technology Lab" within the Faculty of Computer Science. This role focuses on conducting research and development in image-based modeling and image synthesis for virtual 3D/VR environments. Key responsibilities include conceptualizing and implementing computer graphics and visual computing software, developing and evaluating new research findings, conducting scientific literature reviews, and documenting and publishing results. The position offers the possibility of pursuing a cooperative doctorate. Candidates should have a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, strong programming skills in object-oriented languages (ideally C++), and experience in computer vision, image processing, or 3D computer graphics.
