Job Summary

This role is for an Optics Development Engineer passionate about shaping innovative products. Day-to-day, the engineer will be involved in the full product development lifecycle for optical and optical configurations, including simulating, optimizing, and performing tolerance calculations for optical systems using Zemax OpticStudio. Key responsibilities also include planning and executing design qualifications, product tests, and certifications, particularly IEC 60825-1, as well as building functional samples, prototypes, and pre-series products. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Optics or a related field and several years of experience in optical system development, especially with laser sources.
