Job Summary
This two-year fixed-term, full-time position as Energy Manager involves implementing measures derived from the grant notice for introducing a municipal energy management system (EMS). The role is central to the city's climate protection efforts, requiring the manager to oversee and document the EMS project, conduct energy assessments of municipal properties and technical systems, and generate comprehensive energy reports monitoring consumption of heat, electricity, fuel, and water. Key responsibilities also include leading the energy team, managing the procurement of various energy sources, documenting street lighting, and contributing to energy policy guidelines and public outreach. Candidates must possess a relevant technical qualification, professional experience in energy efficiency or climate protection, and familiarity with GIS and professional software solutions, coupled with strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Technical Building Infrastructure, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), Energy and Climate Protection, Real Estate Management, or comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate protection is highly valued
- Experience with GIS systems and other professional software solutions
