Job Summary
Join a multidisciplinary team at the Lower Saxony State Health Office as a Biologist in the hospital hygiene laboratory. This role involves scientific activities, including the development and maintenance of quality management systems compliant with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. You will be responsible for developing and refining laboratory methods, ensuring their quality management-compliant establishment through validation and verification processes. Additionally, you'll update health and safety documents and contribute to the routine operations, such as sample preparation and microbiological analysis. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to public health by identifying and reducing health risks, working closely with various health institutions and scientific bodies.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Biology or Biosciences with a focus on Microbiology
Experience
- At least one year of professional experience in a microbiological-bacteriological laboratory
- Experience in quality management, ideally in the area of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025
- Experience in a hygiene laboratory (desirable)
