Job Summary

This critical role focuses on the commissioning and testing of protection mechanisms and control systems for High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) plants globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing integration tests and comprehensive functional checks of control technology (hardware and software) within the test center. Key daily tasks include performing and meticulously documenting Functional and Performance Tests (FPT/DPT), often leading to customer acceptance. A primary goal is ensuring the timely and quality-oriented commissioning of HVDC facilities worldwide. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the Project Manager in crucial areas such as quality, risk, and claims management, and participating actively in continuous improvement initiatives. This position is ideal for an Electrical or Power Engineer with specialized knowledge in high-voltage technology and protection systems, offering the opportunity for extensive international travel and long-term assignments.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in power supply and plant commissioning
