This role involves coordinating, executing, and evaluating radiographic (X-ray) examinations on materials, often involving hazardous components or explosives. Key daily tasks include planning and setting up complex test configurations, managing the schedule for penetration tests, analyzing collected data and images, and creating detailed radiographic test reports. A critical component of the role is ensuring system availability by performing preventive maintenance and general upkeep on the X-ray systems used for non-destructive testing (NDT). Candidates must possess valid RT-F and RT-D Level 2 certifications (EN ISO 9712) and a background as an Industrial Electrician or equivalent. Success requires strong technical analysis, problem-solving skills, and specific knowledge of digital image processing and radiation protection standards.
