This position calls for a dedicated Medical Physicist or Engineer to join Klinik Bad Trissl, a leading specialist clinic in oncology, focusing specifically on regional deep hyperthermia treatments. The role is crucial for maintaining the technical quality and safety of this specialized and innovative treatment segment, which operates under the guidelines of the European Society for Hyperthermic Oncology (ESHO). Day-to-day responsibilities include defining precise technical treatment parameters, conducting rigorous quality assurance checks and constancy tests on hyperthermia systems and measurement technology, and performing phantom measurements for treatment simulation. You will also provide expert medical physics consultation to the Medical Technical Radiology Assistants (MTRAs) during treatments. Key qualifications include a completed degree in Medical Physics or Medical Technology and professional experience, preferably in a clinical environment.
