Job Summary
This full-time, permanent role involves serving as a Lecturer at the Institute for Public Administration NRW in Hilden, focusing primarily on the theoretical training of public sector professionals. Daily tasks include leading instruction in core administrative subjects such as Civil Service Law, Public Business Administration, Public Financial Management, General Administrative Law, or Regulatory Law. A significant part of the role involves creating and revising teaching concepts and materials, utilizing digital learning platforms like ILIAS, and actively participating in curriculum development and examinations. The Lecturer will also hold subject responsibility, coordinating external and part-time instructors in their respective fields. Candidates must be current civil servants (A12 minimum) or comparable public sector employees with practical experience in public service, particularly state administration, and proven didactic competence. - Desired: Experience in lecturing/instruction in comparable institutions and subjects
- Desired: Practical experience in public service task areas, especially state administration, relevant to the subjects taught
- Desired: Experience and knowledge in creating and preparing teaching materials
