Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical and Control Systems Service Technician specializing in high-modern horizontal drilling rigs manufactured in Germany and deployed worldwide. The core responsibility involves commissioning new equipment and ensuring flawless electrical and control system functionality on customer sites, primarily across Germany and neighboring countries. Day-to-day tasks include performing essential maintenance, conducting electrical inspections, and rapidly troubleshooting and repairing system failures when they occur. When not on assignment, you will work at the factory, utilizing field experience to actively contribute to the ongoing development of the company's control technology. Key qualifications include a completed technical education (e.g., Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician) and strong expertise in control and drive technology, including PLC and sensor systems. This position offers short deployment durations (typically 1–3 days), excellent team collaboration, and the chance to work with cutting-edge specialized machinery. Basic English skills are required for customer interaction.
