PLC Commissioning Technician | SPS Inbetriebnahmetechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role as a PLC Commissioning Technician offers the opportunity to bring complex intralogistics systems to life for leading global clients like Adidas and Zalando. You will be responsible for preparing and customizing PLC software internally, often utilizing 3D emulation for testing purposes. The core of the role involves extensive on-site commissioning of control systems at customer locations, conducting rigorous interface and plant tests, and optimizing system performance during the crucial ramp-up phase. After successful project completion and documentation, you hand over the project to Customer Support. Successful candidates should possess a technical vocational background, basic knowledge of PLC programming, specifically TIA Portal, and familiarity with bus systems. This position is a permanent contract offering attractive compensation and a challenging environment, but requires a high willingness to travel (approximately 70%), primarily within the DACH region. Structured training and support from experienced colleagues ensure a smooth transition into exciting international projects.
