Job Summary
This full-time role involves critical substance logistics within a globally active pharmaceutical company in Ludwigshafen am Rhein. The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for the precise handling of chemical substances, including weighing, dissolving, and automated processing. Key daily tasks include operating diverse pipetting robots, producing Ready Assay Plates, and setting up new processing protocols on automated production systems. A significant component of the role involves digital inventory management, creating global shipping documentation, and tracking substance shipments. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Chemistry or Biology Laboratory Technician (or equivalent), fluent German skills, and at least basic English proficiency to communicate effectively with internal and external scientists and logistics units.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemistry Laboratory Technician, Biology Laboratory Technician, BTA (Biological Technical Assistant), MTA (Medical Technical Assistant), CTA (Chemical Technical Assistant), or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in chemical substance logistics
- Experience in a laboratory environment (desirable)
