Job Summary

This role involves contributing to the development of future technology within a large corporate group by focusing on robust cybersecurity operations. The Security Operations Engineer will be responsible for analyzing potential security risks, continuously developing security concepts, and evaluating current threats to coordinate appropriate countermeasures. A significant part of the daily work includes identifying and assessing technical vulnerabilities and developing suitable solutions, alongside operating various security solutions such as SIEM, Log Management, Vulnerability Scanners, EDR, and Identity Protection. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification, coupled with several years of professional experience in IT security, network technology, or system administration. Strong communication skills and fluency in German, along with good English proficiency, are essential for documentation, process optimization, project participation, and managing external service providers.
