Job Summary

This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and technical issues within a leading global engineering and IT firm. Day-to-day responsibilities include the acceptance, qualification, and resolution of IT questions, prioritizing and processing support tickets, and providing comprehensive troubleshooting for hardware and software disturbances via phone, remote access, or on-site. Furthermore, the specialist will actively support the expansion and ongoing operation of the IT infrastructure, including client systems, thin clients, and mobile devices. The ideal candidate will possess a completed IT qualification or relevant professional experience in technical support, coupled with strong knowledge of common operating systems, hardware, and the Microsoft Office suite. Fluency in written and spoken German is a mandatory requirement for effective communication and ticket handling.
