Job Summary

This role seeks a proactive Network Specialist to join a 40-person IT team responsible for the infrastructure of the Wiesbaden Industrial Park. The specialist will be crucial in administering, planning, and continuously developing the company's network infrastructure, including central firewalls, VPNs, and security systems. Day-to-day tasks involve providing competent second-level support, implementing IoT and production networks, and maintaining comprehensive system documentation and operational standards. The ideal candidate possesses vocational training in IT/Communication Technology and several years of experience administering complex network components, specifically involving Cisco LAN/WLAN, Fortinet/Checkpoint firewalls, and Linux environments. This position offers the chance to actively participate in digitalization projects within a dynamic industrial setting, utilizing a service-oriented approach and requiring a team player mentality and fluency in German.
