Job Summary

As an Embedded Operating Systems Software Developer, you will be instrumental in preparing Scheidt & Bachmann’s proprietary embedded operating system to meet future demands within their crucial Signaling Systems division. Your daily tasks will involve designing structured software architectures, defining fundamental interfaces between the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL), OS, and application software, and acting as a technical consultant to various development teams. This role requires a completed degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and several years of professional experience in developing embedded or real-time operating systems, particularly within safety-critical environments governed by standards like EN 50128. You must possess deep expertise in C++ development and real-time OS architecture.
