Job Summary

This role seeks a Component Manager to ensure the integrity and compliance of technical material data for clients. Key responsibilities include the meticulous creation, release, and maintenance of material master data, ensuring a reliable technical database. A critical function is conducting proactive obsolescence analyses to mitigate risks associated with discontinued or outdated components, alongside verifying components for potential counterfeits. The manager will also be responsible for capturing and evaluating material data according to current chemical legislation, such as REACH, RoHS, CLP, and GHS, ensuring full legal conformity. This position requires a minimum of three years of relevant vocational training and specialized technical knowledge of components, materials, and chemical regulations. Strong technical understanding, the ability to read technical drawings, and good English skills are essential. This is a full-time, unlimited contract offering competitive pay and 50% remote work flexibility after the onboarding phase.

Required Skills

Education

Minimum 3-year completed vocational training (Berufsausbildung) and a specialized professional qualification

Experience

  • Completed vocational training of at least 3 years in a relevant technical field
  • Specialized professional qualification in a relevant technical area
  • Professional technical knowledge of components, parts, and materials
  • Experience applying chemical legislation (REACH, RoHS, etc.)
  • Professional experience with PC applications (MS-Office)
