This role seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide essential 1st and 2nd level support, acting as the primary point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and incident reports received via phone, email, or in person. Key responsibilities include the analysis and classification of incoming IT disturbances, documenting progress within a ticketing system, and ensuring timely resolution or appropriate escalation to system administrators. The specialist will also be responsible for the hands-on installation and configuration of new hardware and software for end-users, alongside providing general IT assistance. Ideal candidates must possess a completed IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist certification, coupled with strong technical knowledge of standard operating systems like Windows 10/11 and MAC OS X, as well as proficiency in MS Office/Microsoft 365. Experience utilizing ticketing tools, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer service orientation are crucial for success in this permanent, full-time position.
