Job Summary

This role involves supporting Siemens Energy in Mülheim an der Ruhr by performing essential mechanical materials testing within their specialized material laboratory. The primary responsibilities include conducting various mechanical tests, with a specific focus on cyclic fatigue experiments (LCF), along with meticulous documentation and evaluation of all test results. Candidates must possess a strong background in materials science, evidenced by completed vocational training as a Materials Tester, a Technician qualification, or a degree in Materials Engineering. Practical experience in destructive testing of metallic materials and proficiency in operating servo-hydraulic testing machines are highly desirable.
