Job Summary
This critical role involves leading and managing the commercial administration of the LWL-Jugendheim Tecklenburg, a large, autonomous social institution with over 400 employees across 30+ decentralized locations. The successful candidate will assume personnel and technical responsibility for key administrative areas, including HR administration, billing, accounting, procurement, and property management. As a member of the management team, you will oversee finance and accounting, including preparing annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code), and support strategic direction and decision-making. Key responsibilities also include calculating and negotiating fees, maintaining robust controlling systems, economic planning, and actively driving the future-oriented development and digitalization of administrative processes. This position requires strong leadership, expertise in commercial accounting and controlling, and a passion for applying business acumen to the complexities of social work.
Required Skills
Education
University qualification (Bachelor/Diploma) in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in commercial administrative management
- Relevant professional experience, preferably in the public sector or a social enterprise
- Experience with commercial accounting, controlling, and balance sheets
- Leadership and communication competence
