Job Summary

This is a pivotal, in-house IT Security Specialist role within a medium-sized family enterprise, offering the opportunity to significantly shape the company's security posture. The specialist acts as the central point of contact for all IT and Cyber Security matters. Core responsibilities include designing, implementing, and continuously refining security policies, strategies, and processes, ensuring alignment with relevant standards like ISO 27001. Day-to-day tasks involve advising project teams on security compliance, conducting risk assessments and internal IT compliance audits, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing proactive and reactive protective measures. The role also requires implementing targeted security awareness initiatives for employees. Candidates must possess relevant professional experience in IT security, strong knowledge of ISMS, and practical experience with IT audits and vulnerability management systems, including EDR, NDR, and XDR solutions.
