Job Summary

This specialized role is for an Electrical Design Engineer responsible for planning switchgear and the electrical equipment of complex machinery, strictly adhering to customer specifications. Key daily tasks involve drawing electrical control and switching circuits, dimensioning components based on current regulations, and diligently checking safety requirements. The engineer will also be expected to support risk assessments in compliance with Machinery Directives and generate comprehensive technical documentation according to valid norms and guidelines. The ideal candidate must possess a strong technical foundation, acquired through advanced technical training (Technician/Master level) or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology. Professional experience in electrical design within plant construction or automation technology is essential, along with proficiency in ECAD tools, specifically ZUKEN E³ or comparable systems like EPLAN. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and strong regulatory knowledge.
