Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Assay Architect to independently lead complex new assay development and method improvement projects focused on automated immunoassay products within the Laboratory Diagnostics division. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive technical leadership, guiding projects from initial concept through to transfer to routine manufacturing and launch. Day-to-day activities involve leading interdisciplinary Element Team and Design Transfer meetings, managing project resources and budgets, and defining schedules to ensure timely completion. You will also provide technical guidance to R&D staff in developing analytical verification protocols. Key qualifications include a university degree (a PhD is desirable) in Biological Sciences or a related field, coupled with many years of professional experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or Diagnostics. Expert knowledge of analyzers, reagents, and development processes is essential, as are excellent English language skills. This is a demanding and highly visible role offering the chance to shape the future of healthcare technology.

  • Many years of professional experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or Diagnostics (preferred).
