Job Summary

This critical leadership role as Head of ECM II - Maintenance Development involves taking business responsibility for the maintenance strategy and compliance of rail infrastructure assets across the DB Bahnbau Group. The successful candidate will lead and develop a team responsible for creating, managing, and updating all maintenance documentation, configuration management, and maintenance strategies based on operational and design data. Key daily tasks include establishing effective risk and improvement management, overseeing obsolescence management, defining safety-critical components, and coordinating extensively with internal and external regulatory bodies such as EBA, DeBo, and AsBo. This position requires a technical degree, extensive experience in rail vehicle maintenance or maintenance development, and proven leadership skills, combined with deep knowledge of ECM regulations. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Profound experience in the maintenance of rail-bound vehicles or maintenance development
  • Several years of leadership experience (leading and motivating teams)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks, particularly the ECM Regulation
