Job Summary

The University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) is seeking a dedicated Senior Research Technical Assistant to join their Department of Regenerative Medicine and Immunology. In this role, you will be a vital part of a research group investigating the role of immune cells in tissue regeneration, infections, and inflammation, with a focus on understanding immune system development in human organs. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing, planning, and executing organoid technology and molecular biology studies, performing cell culture work, and conducting flow cytometry analyses. You will also be involved in antibody measurements (ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot), histology, and laboratory organization, while also guiding and training junior staff and students. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in an interdisciplinary environment, working alongside physicians, scientists, and students to advance understanding and develop new treatments for immune-mediated diseases.
