Job Summary

This challenging role is central to shaping the energy transition in Bavaria by focusing on the transformation and development of the existing gas network for renewable gases and the establishment of the future hydrogen network infrastructure. The engineer will operate at the critical interface between network operators, market partners, and internal departments (such as Regulation and Controlling), ensuring smooth energy industry network operations. Key responsibilities include supporting gas balancing, managing capacity planning and billing, contributing to gas crisis preparedness, and ensuring the quality of energy industry key performance indicators. The position requires active participation in projects aimed at optimizing the gas network and building the hydrogen network. Candidates must possess a degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration with an energy economics focus, knowledge of essential energy and gas industry regulations, and an affinity for digitalization, including experience with SAP or database systems. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a focus on energy economics, or equivalent qualification.

Experience
