Job Summary

This Postdoctoral Researcher position, located at the University Hospital Bonn's Institute for Experimental Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, focuses on a critical translational research project. The core responsibility involves the characterization and market-oriented advancement of VHH antibodies (Nanobodies) targeting Plasminogen/Plasmin. Daily tasks include the preclinical validation of these novel Nanobodies, assessing their antifibrinolytic or profibrinolytic effects to precisely modulate fibrinolysis, and transferring the findings into a robust translational development concept for therapeutic application. Candidates must hold a completed PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Medicine, or a closely related field, coupled with proven experience in antibody or Nanobody development and strong expertise in protein biochemical and cell biological methodologies.
