Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Operations Engineer specializing in offshore energy systems, initially focusing on integrating into existing 1GW operations to understand processes and structures. The core responsibility involves acting as the primary contact for a grid connection, managing all energy technology systems (AC/DC high, medium, and low voltage, and self-consumption systems) on the offshore platform, land station, and special locations. Key duties include planning and prioritizing maintenance, ensuring safe and reliable operation, and managing budget, execution, and documentation of operational requirements. A significant requirement is a mandatory 3-5 year deployment starting mid-2026 in Batam, Indonesia, requiring relocation. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering and proven experience in the offshore environment and interface management, supported by strong organizational and technical expertise.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology, or comparable qualification. Technical vocational training is beneficial. Offshore certification (e.g., GWO, NOGEPA) is optimal.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the offshore environment
  • Experience in managing interfaces
  • Experience collaborating with cross-location teams
