Job Summary

This role involves serving as a Development Engineer for Electrical Test Systems within a leading defense and security company specializing in advanced electronics for military applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing comprehensive test concepts for electrical systems, including PCBs and electro-optical devices, based on schematics and wiring lists. You will be responsible for designing and integrating necessary hardware like adapters, cables, and fixtures for test benches, followed by overseeing the commissioning, comprehensive testing, and technical acceptance of these systems. A key aspect is creating detailed technical documentation, such as test instructions and protocols. Furthermore, you will develop software solutions to automate or streamline manual testing processes. Candidates must possess a technical Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or be a state-certified technician, coupled with professional experience in developing electrical test systems and strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology.
