Job Summary
The City of Mühlacker is seeking a full-time Energy Manager, initially on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2028, to join the Land and Building Management Office. This role is central to developing and implementing sustainable energy strategies across municipal properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting building substance and technology, conducting vulnerability analyses, identifying energy savings potential, and optimizing operations. A key focus will be establishing and implementing an energy controlling system, including data collection and database setup, and overseeing digitalization projects related to building operations. The ideal candidate holds a university degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) in Building, Energy, or Environmental Technology, possesses foundational knowledge in technical building management, and has innovative ideas for digitalizing building operations. This position requires a high degree of commitment, a structured work approach, and offers an engaging, varied role within a collegial environment.
